Happy New Year everyone!! Although it's a little bit late. Sowie! Had a pretty exciting New Year wkend...Wednesday Jon, Jen and Jen's two kids Jayln (3) and Jeremiah (5) came over and we watched the ball drop on tv and ordered pizza and drank a little and played with the kiddies. It was fun. Thursday I didn't do too much but relax, watch TV and play Sims2 since Lowell went with his Uncle Pat to the Winter Classic at Wrigley Field on New Years Day at the last minute. He got lost for 2hrs in the city (because he wasn't with me of course) which I thought was kinda funny but he did get me a beanie which is cute! Friday...hmm...what did we do...oh yea!!...Lowell's mom got married to Stan on Friday early afternoon at the courthouse! And then they took US all out to eat at their favorite pizza/pub resturant Rodney's which was kewl. Friday nite we went to 3Floyds Brewery because I had been DYING for their turkey smoker sandwich (highly recommended if you are ever in Munster, IN) and all the boys got wasted while I drank water and drove everyone home, which I was happy too of course! And then Saturday Lowell and I woke up somewhat early, packed everything up and then headed to Lowell's mom and Stan's lakehouse on Lake Shafer that they just bought. It was so freakin cute! So cute and perfect that I completely forgot to grab my camera and take some pictures! We are thinking about going up there next wkend to hang out, if we do I will DEFINATELY take some then!
Not too much has been going on tonight. Just watching Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift...haha...its a pretty awful movie. Funny tho. I have been working on the website all week, and doing some reading on market research. Lowell and I have also decided to get the eBay business started up and running again. Not to mention a budget and no ore useless spending on ANYTHING. Everyone in the house is taking a cut. No more expensive greenies for the booshin, no more eating out for us...not until the credit card debit is payed off and there is a significant amount of savings saved up. It's time to get serious about the future. We were talking about getting married next year and having a destination wedding in the Caribbean and starting a family. You can't do any of that with quite a bit of debt. I just want it to be G-O-N-E! And it will be if I have anything to do with it!
Tomorrow I am making my first cheesecake. We shall see how it turns out. Well I hope cause cheesecake seems like a pain in the arse to make! It will probably be good though!! MmMmMm. I wish I had made it today cause now I have a taste for it. MmMmMm.
